Chinese President Xi Jinping, during his 3-day state visit to South Korea starting today (30th), will meet with leaders of major companies from both China and South Korea, Yonhap News Agency quoted sources as saying. The expected attendees include Jay Lee, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, Chey Tae-won Chairman of SK Group, Robin Zeng, Chairman of CATL (03750.HK), and Richard Liu, Founder of JD-SW (09618.HK). The market anticipated that Xi's visit to South Korea will accelerate the recovery of supply chains in emerging industries such as semiconductors, batteries and EVs between the two countries.
